Early morning crept up on the horizon, like a stealthy cat upon a mouse. Airtos’s internal alarm clock went off and her eyes popped wide open. She let out a yawn and rolled over on her back. She looked over at Allura and rolled her eyes in a sort of motherly way. She moved Allura’s bangs out of her face and sat up. She stretched lazily and looked over at the white haired silhouette in the window.
